Immunization

If you would like to receive your flu shot, go to https://www.tricare.mil/FluVaccine to find a list of local TRICARE Participating Network pharmacies.

If you do decide to get vaccinated off-base, be sure to keep the vaccination record and bring it into the Immunizations Clinic to update your Military and NC Immunization record.
The vaccination record should state your name, DOB, date administered, site, and the type of influenza vaccine.

  • Some pharmacies on the list may have an on-site clinic that offers flu vaccines. Be sure to get your vaccine from the pharmacist, not from a health provider, to avoid possible out-of-pocket costs.

  • Before you visit the pharmacy, call them to verify their current vaccination schedule, availability and any age restrictions.

  • Be sure to present your military ID at the time of service.

If you need after hours assistance related to a vaccine/immunization:

CALL THE WORLDWIDE DHA IMMUNIZATION HEALTHCARE SUPPORT CENTER
1-877-GET-VACC (1-877-438-8222)

Calls are answered 24 hours a day, seven days a week by licensed healthcare providers with expertise in immunication issues to assist in answering patient and provider inquiries.

FOR PATIENTS COMING FROM A MEDICAL HOME PORT APPOINTMENT:

We extended our services until 1600 for patients who arrive after a Medical Home Port appointment. Please alert Medical Home Port staff upon Check-in that you intend to visit the Immunizations Clinic after your scheduled appointment.
