Walk-In Contraceptive Services
Receive all your contraceptive care at Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point's Walk-In Contraceptive Service clinic.
Services are offered Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 8 a.m. - noon, in the facility's Medical Homeport Red Team area.
All beneficiaries 13 years of age and older, regardless of gender identity, are eligible for care and counseling at walk-in contraceptive clinics and can receive education on safe sexual practices, contraceptives and STI prevention and treatment.
Due to processing time and demand, we may exceed the number of patients we can safely service during walk-in contraceptive clinic hours. If this occurs, we will work with your schedule to ensure your needs are met.
Services Offered
Walk In Clinic is Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8 a.m. - noon, in the Medical Homeport Red Team area
- Contraception counseling/medication
- Services offered are:
- Patches
- Pills
- Implants (Nexplanon)
- IUDs (Skyla, Mirena, Paragard)
- Emergency Contraception
- Rings (NuvaRing)
- Depo-Provera injections
- Condoms
- Spermicides
- Vasectomy referral evaluation
Appointments are required for Well-Woman exams; call 252-466-0921.
How it Works
The Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point Walk-In Contraceptive Services are available to patients on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8 a.m. - noon, in the facility's Medical Homeport Red Team area. Most services are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis. Call the appointment line during our operating hours at 252-466-0921 if you have questions or need to schedule a Well-Woman exam.
Some contraceptive services require a negative pregnancy test. The testing will be completed during your appointment.
