**Training Exercise - November 5**

Staff serving onboard Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point will conduct required annual Active Shooter training on Wednesday, November 5, from 3:00 P.M. to approximately 4:30 P.M. that will directly impact patient services.  Training will include role players, simulated casualties, and emergency responders.
 

  • All patient services will end no later than 3:00 P.M. and will not resume until 07:30 A.M. on Thursday, November 06.
  • Walk-In services in Patient Records, Immunizations, and Optometry will serve their last patient no later than 2:00 P.M.
  • The last ticket at the Pharmacy and Lab will be issued no later than 14:30.


The clinic will return to normal operating status on Thursday, November 06.

"Signed into law in 2020, the National Suicide Hotline Designation Act authorized 988 as the new three-digit number for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. As part of the law, all telephone service providers in the U.S. had to activate the number no later than July 16, 2022.
