Sailor, Civilians Honored at August Award Ceremony

MCAS Cherry Point — A Sailor and civilian staff were recognized for their excellence Wednesday, August 28, 2024, aboard Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point.

Navy Lt. Lizette Gonzalez served aboard Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point for three years, ending her tour in Summer 2023 as the as the Department Head of Patient Administration. Gonzalez, a Mustang, previously served as a Marine for 14 years, rising to the rank of Staff Sgt.

MCAS Cherry Point — Members of the Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point and surrounding communities gathered aboard the base to celebrate the service and dedication of two U.S. Navy officers in early summer, 2023.

Petty Officer Second Class Davise Angevine serves as the Work Center Supervisor of Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point’s Material Management Department along with a variety of additional duties. He enjoys the leadership role entrusted to him and credits teamwork for his success.

MCAS Cherry Point — Petty Officer Second Class Davise Angevine enjoys the leadership role entrusted to him while serving aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point.

Ms. Deanna Patterson served aboard the clinic for over 21 years, concluding her service as a Medical Records Technician in the facility’s Readiness Clinic. She received the Civilian Service Commendation Medal during a ceremony held Thursday, September 29, 2022.

MCAS Cherry Point — Sailors and Civilians aboard Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point recently celebrated the dedication and exceptional service of a retiring civilian employee.

Hospital Corpsmen Third Class Nathan Zachreus serves as the Lead Petty Officer for the Immunization Clinic aboard Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point. Zachreus was recently recognized as the clinic’s Junior Sailor of the Year.
