Patrons coming aboard the MCAS Cherry Point as a guardian / caregiver must have a Real ID along with the patient’s Military ID to avoid any delays.  A noncompliant ID or no ID at all will cause gate sentries to direct patrons without the proper ID to the visitor’s center.

MCAS Cherry Point — Sailors serving aboard Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point celebrated the advancement and excellence of their peers during a ceremony Friday, September 9.

*TRAINING*TRAINING*TRAINING* Hospital Corpsman Third Class Nathan Zachreaus makes an incision on a mannequin as part of establishing an airway via cricothyroidotomy during a training event held August 4 aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point. Zachreaus and other sailors assigned to Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point conducted the practical exercise as students in Tactical Combat Casualty Care, a course designed to sharpen their battlefield medicine skills.

MCAS Cherry Point — Serving the Behavioral Health needs of Marines and Sailors in eastern North Carolina is an honor for Lieutenant Mike Krage, Psy. D., a Clinical Psychologist serving aboard Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point.

Mr. Stephen Roy serves as the Facilities Manager at Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point, located in Eastern North Carolina aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point. Roy began working at Naval Hospital Cherry Point on Aug. 10, 1982 and later at the clinic after its construction and occupation in 1994.

Cherry Point Sailors Conduct Service Dress White Inspection

MCAS Cherry Point — Sailors serving aboard Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point conducted a Service Dress White Uniform inspection Friday, April 29. The inspection provided leaders an opportunity to speak with Sailors about recent and upcoming events while hearing their concerns.

Hospital Corpsman Second Class Charles Brown Jr. saved the life of a Marine Corps Officer Candidate in late June, 2021 by proving immediate aid to him when he succumbed to hyperthermia during an introductory physical fitness test. He received the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal during a ceremony Friday, April 15.

MCAS Cherry Point — A sailor serving aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point received recognition Friday, April 15 for his role in saving the life of a fellow service member.

Sailors serving aboard Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point received recognition for their efforts to live and embody the clinic’s motto of “Keeping the Warfighter in the Fight” during a ceremony held Friday, April 15 aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point. Hospital Corpsmen Second Class Jason Mike and Jose Lazomorales received the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal along with Hospitalman Alexandre Castillo. Hospital Corpsman Third Class Emily Page received recognition for her excellence in earning the honor of Junior Sailor of the Quarter for 1st Marine Aircraft Wing.

Petty Officer 3rd Class Natassia Martinez, RT (R), received the Military Outstanding Volunteer Medal in recognition for her dedication to the Carteret County Human Society and the Carteret Big Clean Sweep. Martinez, a native of Murrieta, California, serves as a Radiologic Technologist aboard Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point and enjoys the opportunity to serve the Eastern NC community through work benefitting animals.
