Hospital Corpsman First Class Garret Fralix serves aboard Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point as the Senior Enlisted Leader of the facility’s Directorate of Medical Services. With responsibilities spanning across three departments, Fralix approaches each duty day understating his service plays a vital role in the medical readiness of Marines aboard the base and the health of their family members.

MCAS Cherry Point — Sailors and Staff at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point gathered Wednesday, September 20 to celebrate the promotion of one of their peers.

Hospital Corpsman Third Class Ernest Espiritu credits his mother’s determination and dedication to raising him as inspiration to serve in the U.S. Navy aboard Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point. Espiritu supervises the clinic’s department responsible for providing medical care to family members and beneficiaries living in communities surrounding the base and eastern North Carolina.

MCAS Cherry Point — Sailors and Civilians recently bid Fair Winds and Following Seas to an officer who served his entire Navy career as a Nurse.

Hospital Corpsman First Class (Fleet Marine Force) Matthew Cutler, left, receives the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal from Capt. Sean Barbabella, Commander of Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point during a ceremony held Friday, July 21. Cutler received the award for his dedication to patient care and medical operations while serving aboard Naval Branch Health Clinic, Naval Base Coronado from April 2018 to March 2022.

MCAS Cherry Point — Petty Officer Second Class Davise Angevine enjoys the leadership role entrusted to him while serving aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point.

Ms. Deanna Patterson served aboard the clinic for over 21 years, concluding her service as a Medical Records Technician in the facility’s Readiness Clinic. She received the Civilian Service Commendation Medal during a ceremony held Thursday, September 29, 2022.
