The Slocum Gate at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point will be temporarily closed starting July 6, 2026, for approximately five weeks. This closure is necessary to install critical security and infrastructure upgrades.

Traffic disruptions are anticipated both on base and in the surrounding community during peak morning and afternoon commute times, 6–8 a.m. and 3–5 p.m., weekdays, and particularly along NC Highway 101 and US 70 Business route in Havelock, North Carolina.

** Commercial Phone Service Degraded **
Commercial phones at the clinic are degraded due to a problem with the service provider. Patients may experience difficulty trying to reach staff at the clinic via phone.

* Pharmacy Refill Line *
- Patients are experiencing trouble connecting with the current Pharmacy refill line ending 0570.
- Pharmacy patients seeking refills should call 252 - 380 - 2424 until the telephone problem is resolved.

Patients are encouraged to message their provider through MHS Genesis until the problem is resolved.
